What the day is like
THE CLEAREST WATER.
- You enjoy kilometers of white sand and clear water
- You have lunch right on the beach
- You have an open bar
- You swim and relax, with no rush
10 hours of beach with no decision to make, and a day to remember.
- Pickup point. I’ll arrange your pickup at your hotel, or at the nearest meeting point. I’ll pick you up early and the bus gathers the rest of the group. It is a ten-hour day.
- The road. From Punta Cana to Bayahibe. An hour and a half down to Bayahibe, which is where the sea begins. We stop halfway.
- The port. The port and your wristband. Check-in and the group wristband, in a harbor with a lot of boats around.
- The catamaran. The catamaran, with music. The way out is by catamaran, with music and cold drinks, in no hurry to get there.
- Natural pool. The natural pool. A sandbar in the middle of the sea, with starfish on the bottom.
- Saona. Saona and lunch. Kilometers of white sand and clear water. We eat in that same spot, under a gazebo.
- The way back. The way back, by speedboat. The way back is by speedboat, shorter than the way out, to reach the transport sooner.

Frequently asked questions
When is lunch?
When we arrive on the island. It is a Dominican lunch served under a gazebo. I recommend a good breakfast at the hotel, because the whole morning passes between the pickup and lunch.
Are drinks included?
Yes. There is an open bar with local drinks during the day: rum, beer and soft drinks, on the boat and on the island.
Can I bring a backpack?
Yes. A small backpack is enough for your towel, a change of clothes and your phone.
How long does it take to get there?
The drive from Punta Cana to Bayahibe takes one hour and a half. In Bayahibe you check in, and then you board the boat to sail to the island.
Do I need to bring a towel?
Yes. You can bring the one from your hotel. You will need it at the natural pool and on the beach.
Is there anything I pay for separately?
Yes. On the island there are massages, a photographer and some special drinks that are not included in the price. If you are interested, bring a little cash.
Why does the bus stop at so many hotels?
Because the bus picks up all the travelers in the group at their hotels before it takes the highway. That is why the pickup is early: we reach the sea with the whole day ahead of us.
Do we go and return on the same boat?
No. The trip to the island is by catamaran, with music and drinks, at a relaxed pace. The return is by speedboat: it is shorter and you feel the movement of the sea more, and you reach the return transport sooner.
Do we change vehicles on the way?
It is possible. Sometimes you leave the hotel in one vehicle and then move to another bus, where the whole group meets before taking the highway. This is a normal part of the day.
