What the day is like

6 ADVENTURES IN ONE DAY.

• You ride the chairlift and cross the zipline
• You ride a horse and tour the estate on a safari
• You drive a buggy through the mud
• You swim in the river and shower before you go back

6 experiences on one estate, and a full day of moments you will remember.

1. Pickup point. I’ll arrange your pickup at your hotel, or at the nearest meeting point. I’ll pick you up at your hotel. When you arrive they set you up with a helmet and a free locker.
2. The buggy. The buggy, through the mud. There is no road here, just mud that flies as you drive. You’re going to get dirty.
3. The river. The Anamuya River, to wash off the Mud. From the buggy you go straight into the Anamuya river. You get in covered in mud and come out clean.
4. The Horses. The Horseback Ride around the Ranch. The trails of the estate on criollo horses, with a guide beside you the whole way.
5. The chairlift. The Chairlift, with the valley below. You ride up with no effort, the valley below. The calmest stretch of the day.
6. The zipline. The zipline, and the jump. Up top the zipline circuit starts. And if you want more, there is the free fall jump.
7. The Safari. The cultural Safari, and lunch. The Dominican countryside, with the donkeys and the goats of the estate. It closes with a buffet lunch.

Frequently asked questions

Is it good for the whole family?

Yes. Hacienda Park is for the whole family: children and older adults are welcome. Some activities have requirements. Height: from 110 cm you can do the full tour. Weight: up to 136 kg. Buggy: you need a driver’s license to drive it. If you are pregnant, or you have a heart, back or neck condition, please ask your doctor before you book. Do you have a question about someone in your group? Write to me and we will check it together.

Do you have to do all six activities?

No, you choose. The chairlift, the safari and the horses are suitable for everyone. The zipline and the jump are optional: if you prefer to skip them, you go down on the same chairlift or by the stairs and continue with the group. That is why it is a good choice for groups: each person does what they want, and everyone spends the day together.

Will I get very dirty?

Yes, mostly on the buggy: you drive through mud and it splashes up to your face. After the buggy you go down to the Anamuya river, where you can wash. At the end of the day there are also showers, so you return to the hotel clean. Bring clothes that can get dirty and dry clothes for the way back.

Can I film with my phone or a GoPro?

Yes, on most of the tour. On the more intense activities you are not allowed to use it. This is for your safety, and so the device does not fall. Drones are not allowed at any time. There are free lockers at the entrance where you can leave what you do not want to carry.

What is paid for separately?

Lunch and drinks are not included: you pay for them inside the park. Water is free: there are dispensers all over the park, so you only need to bring your own bottle. The photos taken of you during the tour are optional, and you can buy them at the end. A little cash is enough.

Does the day follow a fixed schedule?

No. You do all six activities, but the order changes each day, depending on where the other groups are. For that reason, the lunch time also changes. I recommend a good breakfast before you leave. When the group is large, there can be some waiting between activities. This is normal at the park.
